Ages ago we had the idea to revitalize our back gardens into a walkway fit with memorial plaques and seating where our residents could take a stroll, have a seat, and remember those we have lost. A perfect place to catch some dappled rays in a tranquil moment.
We are thrilled to share that our long awaited memorial garden has been planted this weekend! It was a gorgeous day and we were thankful to have the help of 11 volunteers come to help with the planting. Melinda, our house manager, arranged sandwiches and drinks for everyone and Annette, the amazing gardener and visionary, designed the entire concept and oversaw the project at every step. It was lovely to get out in the garden on such a sunny day with friends to work on this project together.
